Advantages of Using Dried Apple
Using 8 kg of fresh apples in a crate, approximately 1 kg of dried apple is obtained, which can fit into a small jar.
Due to volume reduction, the space required for storage is significantly reduced. The required volume is reduced to approximately 1/8 compared to fresh apples.
Due to weight and volume reduction, it has become an easy-to-transport product. A 20-ton truck of fresh apples can fit into an area of approximately 3 pallets in powder form.
It does not need to be kept in cold storage. Storing it in a cool, dry, and dark place is sufficient for dried apple storage conditions.
The growth rate of bacteria is proportional to the water content in dried apple. During the drying process, the water content of fresh apple drops from 88% to 10%, reducing water activity and limiting bacterial growth in the dried apple. Limiting bacterial growth ensures a much longer shelf life.

What is dried apple?
Granny Smith dried apple is the dried form of fresh apples. Apples contain approximately 88% water. Therefore, 1 kg of dried apple is obtained from about 8 kg of fresh apples. During the drying process, the water is removed, leaving the essence of the product. As a result, the nutritional values in dried apples, especially protein, carbohydrates, and minerals, are significantly concentrated.
As the manufacturer, we offer dried apple in various sizes:
Dried apple powder 0-1 mm
Dried apple diced
Dried apple rings
Dried apple granules
How to Store Dried Apple?
Dried apple has a minimum shelf life of 1 year when stored under appropriate conditions. There are 3 main factors that reduce this period:
