What Are Dried Mandarin Chips?

Dried mandarin chips are products produced by slicing and drying fresh mandarins in special machines and then packaging them. Before drying, fresh mandarin contains approximately 88% water. Through drying, the water content in the fresh product is reduced to very low levels. As a result of drying, 1 kg of dried mandarin is obtained by using approximately 8 kg of fresh mandarin. During the drying process, the water in the fresh product is removed, and the essence of the mandarin remains. Therefore, the nutritional values of dried mandarin, especially protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and fiber, have increased significantly. The package sold is produced using approximately 400 g of fresh mandarin.
