What Are Orange Chips?
Dried orange chips are products produced by slicing and drying fresh oranges in special machines and packaging them after production. Before drying, fresh oranges contain approximately 90% water. Through drying, the water content in the fresh product is reduced to very low levels. As a result of drying, approximately 8 kg of oranges are used to obtain 1 kg of dried orange. During the drying process, the water in the fresh product is removed, leaving the essence of the orange. Therefore, the nutritional values of dried orange, especially protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and fiber, have increased significantly. The package sold is produced using approximately 160 g of fresh oranges.
