What Is Lemon Peel Powder?

An image answering the question of what lemon peel powder is and how it is made

Lemon peel powder is the ground form of the product obtained by drying fresh lemon peel. Before drying, fresh lemon peel contains approximately 80% water. Through the drying process, the water content in the fresh product is reduced to very low levels. As a result of drying, approximately 1 kg of dried lemon peel powder is obtained from 5 kg of fresh lemon peel. During the drying process, the water inside the fresh product is removed, leaving the essence of the lemon peel. Therefore, the nutritional values of lemon peel powder, especially protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and fiber, are highly concentrated.
