What Is Orange Peel Powder?

An image answering the question of what orange peel powder is and how it is made

Orange peel powder is the ground form of the product obtained by drying fresh orange peel. Fresh orange peel contains approximately 80% water before drying. Through the drying process, the water content in the fresh product is reduced to very low levels. As a result of drying, approximately 1 kg of dried orange peel powder is obtained from 5 kg of fresh orange peel. During the drying process, the water in the fresh product is removed, leaving the essence of the orange. Therefore, the nutritional values of orange peel powder, especially protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and fiber content, are significantly increased.

How is the dried orange peel powder we manufacture made?

Dried orange peel powder 0-1 mm: Fresh orange peel is dried after undergoing necessary pre-treatments. The dried orange peel obtained after drying is ground using special crushing systems to produce orange peel powder.
