Quince Powder
What is Quince Powder?

Quince powder is produced by drying fresh quince and grinding the resulting product. Fresh quince contains approximately 84% water before drying. During the drying process, the water content in the fresh product is reduced to very low levels. As a result of drying, approximately 1 kg of dried quince powder is obtained from 6 kg of fresh quince. The drying process removes the water from the fresh product, leaving the quince essence behind. Therefore, the nutritional values of quince powder, especially protein, carbohydrates, minerals, and fiber, are highly concentrated.
How is the dried quince powder we manufacture made?
Dried quince powder 0-1 mm: Fresh quince is dried after undergoing the necessary pre-processing. After drying, the dried quince is ground using special crushing systems to obtain quince powder.
How to Store Quince Powder?
Dried quince powder has a minimum shelf life of 1 year when stored under suitable conditions. There are 3 main factors that reduce this period:
- Humidity
- Sunlight
- High temperature
To prevent a shortened shelf life, it should be kept in its own packaging in a cool, dry, and dark environment.
